American Education Services (AES) will hold a technology demonstration highlighting WVmentor -- a powerful new Internet portal to higher education for West Virginia students and their families.
The new Website will be unveiled at 10 a.m. on April 4 at the Dave Childers Conference Room, West Virginia Library Commission, Culture & History Building in the West Virginia Capitol Complex.
A multimedia demonstration will be showcase WVmentor's Career Center, financial aid calculators, virtual campus tours and many other offered features.
State and local officials, including State Senator Lloyd G. Jackson II, State Representative Jerry L. Mezzatesta, Kay Goodwin, Secretary of Education, Dr. Twila Kirkpatrick, President of the West Virginia Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and Judy Hale, President of the West Virginia Federation of Teachers, among others, are expected to attend.
