New College Web Site to Help Students Interested in Maryland Colleges and Universities is Launched
MarylandMentor® is the Latest Student Service Mentor® Site launched by Xap Corporation in Association with American Education Services.
Los Angeles, CA – May 15, 2002 – Xap Corporation, the leader in Internet-based integrated student services, today announced the launch of MarylandMentor.org, the first college application and information site designed specifically for students interested in the colleges and universities of Maryland.
The site is the latest of 21 live Mentor sites that have been developed by Xap Corporation and the sixth Mentor site created in association with American Education Services.

Mentor sites, which are exclusively developed by Xap Corporation, are Internet-based, student-centered websites that provide students and their parents a simpler, friendlier and free way to plan for college admission, search and select colleges, learn about scholarships and financial aid, plan a career, and apply to college.
Xap currently has contracts for Mentor systems covering approximately 80% of college enrollment throughout the United States.
