Mobile-Mind and XAP launch SAT/GRE prep for mobile phones

Watertown, MA – March 3, 2003 – Mobile-Mind, Inc. and Xap Corporation today announced the launch of XAPwords for the SAT and GRE, a mobile phone application to help students "build their vocabulary on the go." XAPwords builds pre-test confidence for standardized college exams with a vocabulary builder that includes 500 of the most frequently tested SAT and GRE words. Students can use the XAPwords application to study words and definitions, take quizzes, track scores, and make personalized Flash Cards on their mobile phones. An additional XAPwords feature, "My History", allows students to review progress and track performance.

XAPwords effectively puts an interactive vocabulary-enhancing product into students' pockets and backpacks. After downloading the XAPwords application onto their cell phones, students can access their XAPwords at any time from any location. Spare minutes at the bus stop or waiting for the game to start can be turned into fun and productive study time.

Allen Firstenberg, President and CEO of Xap Corporation said "Partnering with Mobile-Mind allows us to broaden our reach and give students a convenient, affordable way of accessing our test preparation tools. As the number of students using cell phones continues to increase, we expect there to be significant demand for user-friendly wireless educational applications."

Bill Mangino, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Mobile-Mind said "We are delighted to offer Xap's outstanding test prep materials to wireless carriers and their subscribers. XAPwords is a breakthrough application that puts test preparation resources at the fingertips of every student with a mobile phone."

XAPwords was developed by Mobile-Mind, Inc., and is powered by Number2.com, a division of Xap Corporation. XAPwords is the latest addition to Mobile-Mind's mobile learning suite. Related wireless products include Mobile-Lingo, Mobile-Student, and Mobile-Q.
