Transcript Exchange
Sending academic transcripts should not be a time-consuming process.
Overview
The Xap Transcript Exchange allows high schools and colleges to deliver secure electronic transcripts in only a few minutes.
While most colleges have accepted online admission applications for years, the majority of transcripts are still paper sent by way of the regular mail. This requires colleges to match applications they receive electronically with paper transcripts that arrive in the mail. This process opens the door for data-entry errors to occur, or for delayed responses to eligibility status. Xap's Transcript Exchange is state-of-the-art technology, and is designed to electronically receive, store, and transmit transcript data between participating high schools, colleges, and universities. In addition, prospective students using a Mentor site can also release their official high school or college transcripts along with their online applications and send a 'digital package' to their college or university of interest.
Seamless Access. High school counselors, college administrators, and prospective students can each access the Transcript Exchange from their respective Xap system.
Encrypted Data Transmissions. All data is encrypted to ensure privacy. Students, counselors and college administrators can feel confident that the information they send or receive is secure.
Real-time Processing. Transcript and application data is available immediately after being submitted by the counselor, student, or college administrator.
